Door County camping can be a wonderful way to experience your vacation . You will find on this site the pros and cons of various campgrounds on the peninsula. Both private and state have their unique advantages, and not one place has it all. My family and I have done a lot of camping in Door County over the years. One of my earliest camping memories is from Peninsula State Park in Fish Creek. We currently live in Appleton, but are frequently making plans to spend vacation time in the Door Peninsula.
There are also many great small hotels and bed-and-breakfasts.
