Baileys Woods Campground

It has been a few years since I camped, and I couldn't have had a better "back to camping" experience than the one I enjoyed in June. Baileys Woods is under new ownership and it is obviuos the new owners have been working hard on the campgrounds. The bathrooms were spotless, the showers hot! Picnic tables were brand new and the sites are large, spacious and wooded.
We didn't have any children along, so I didn't check out the playground area. We purchased wood right at the campgrounds and the owner brought us a hollowed out trunk that we placed on top of our fire that created a beautiful chimney effect.
Baileys Harbor is the perfect setting for a low key experience like the six adults in my family wanted....and Baileys Woods was a great home away from home.
