This coming weekend on 5/17/08 there will be a city-wide rummage sale event in Sister Bay. Really! Supposedly there's going to be over 30 households holding rummage sales, as well as local restaurants offering specials. This event gives testimony to the fact that this is a popular recreational pastime for the whole family. The waters surrounding Door County will be the area where tournament entrants will be testing their skills and luck! A $25 entry fee entitles participants an opportunity to win generous cash prizes for the top 60 heaviest fish with a grand prize valued at over $1500 to be awarded to the angler with the biggest fish. Tournament participants will find that you do not need to own a large boat to fish the many protected harbors and inlets where the big ones lurk. This is one cool little camping trailer. I first saw it in a National Geographic Adventure magazine I get. Their website has some great videos on how to set it up.
