Door County has some fabulous state parks. On the Peninsula and surrounds, you will find:

1. Peninsula State Park (the largest state park in Door County)

2. Newport State Park in Ellison Bay

3. Potawatomi State Park in Sturgeon Bay

4. Whitefish Dunes State Park - also in Sturgeon Bay, and

5. Rock Island State Park (accessible from Washington Island)
